Magura celebrates 43rd founding anniversary of BNP

A discussion meeting and special prayer mahfil has been held in Magura on the occasion of the 43rd founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) at the initiative of the district BNP.

District BNP convener Alhaj Ali Ahmed presided over a discussion meeting held at the Jelam BNP office at Vaina Morsh in Magura on Tuesday afternoon.

District BNP Member Secretary Md. Akhtaruzzaman, Joint Convener Advocate Roknuzzaan, Joint Convener Md. Farukuzzaman Faruk, District President of Juba Dal District Advocate Md. Shamim, Chhatra Dal district president Md. Abdur Rahim and others.

After the discussion, a special prayer mahfil was held for the immediate recovery of BNP chairperson and three-time former Prime Minister of Bangladesh Begum Khaleda Zia.
A special prayer and milad mahfil has been held on behalf of Sreepur Upazila BNP for the immediate release of Ali Ahmed, the convener of Magura District BNP.
Prominent politicians, social workers, members of Magura District BNP and former general secretary of Sreepur Upazila BNP Alhaj Khandaker Abbas Uddin, BNP leader Mahabubur Rahman and Mia Sharafat were present at the prayer meeting held at the Central Jame Mosque in Ghasiyara Bepari Para of the upazila yesterday afternoon. Hossain Shukur, Amjad Hossain, Ayub Hossain Khan, Zakir Hossain Jhantu, Shahidul Islam, Riaz Uddin, convener of Sreepur upazila branch of Juba Dal Md. Ziaul Haque Farid, youth leader Shafiqul Islam and many others.
Special prayers and milad mahfil were conducted by Hafez Maulana Wasikur Rahman, Principal of Deen.
